Executive Chairman, CEO & Director
Mohan Vulimiri has many years public company experience, having been involved in the management of numerous junior and established companies. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kharagpur, India) with a BSc Honours degree in Applied Geology and a MSc Degree in Economic Geology from the University of Washington, USA, he has over 30 years experience in the exploration and delineation of ore deposits with emphasis on structural controls and modes of occurrence of mineral zones.
Jeffrey Selder, M. Eng. (Mining),
Jeffrey has over 20 years of industrial and small-scale mineral production and processing equipment experience ranging from the design and manufacture, to their actual use on site for mineral processing and fluid recovery. He consulted for several major mining companies and numerous agencies on all continents. Major companies and organizations include Coeur Mining; AngloGold Ashanti Colombia; Xstrata Copper; Northern Dynasty Minerals; Eldorado Gold; International Training Centre for Artisanal Miners, UBC, Vancouver; Wardrop Engineering, Vancouver; Tetra Tech Engineering, Vancouver; United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Amazon Region, Brazil.
Jason Birmingham has over twenty-eight years of capital markets experience in board and committee activities, regulatory compliance, finance, investor relations, project negotiations and acquisitions. Jason completed the Canadian Securities Course in 1995 and Real Estate Salesperson’s Sub-Mortgage Broker’s Pre-Licensing Course through the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, at the University of British Columbia in 1996. Jason is the President of Birmingham Consulting Ltd., his wholly-owned company, since April 1999. Jason is currently a director and officer of two reporting issuers, listed on the NEX – TSX Venture Exchange: President and Director of Cerro Mining Corp., Director of Cassius Ventures Ltd.
Peter F. Tegart, P.Geo.
Peter Tegart is an accomplished professional geologist with extensive experience in exploration and mining of all kinds of mineral deposits. He has a successful career in the delineation of these deposits. He was responsible for the acquisition of Manhattan Minerals Corporations world-class Tambo Grande Project, located in northern Peru. Prior to this he was Vice-President, Exploration, Cheni Gold Mines and Western Manager, Serem Ltd
Mr. Stark spent 28 years with Canadian government in the Solicitor General’s department and foreign service as a diplomat in South America, Africa, Asia and Europe. On leaving government in 1987, he joined a team of geologists and engineers to fund and explore mineral projects in Canada, Mexico and South America. He has been a financier, officer and / or director of thirteen public companies engaged in exploration / exploitation of precious metals projects, aquaculture, industrial products and Information Technology.
Carlos Jaramillo, BA, MBA
Ing. Jaramillo is a senior executive, based in Quito, Ecuador with extensive experience in the commercial, financial and administrative fields in well-known multinational and national companies in automotive, oil and mining sectors. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Catholic University of Ecuador and a Diploma in Business Administration from ESCP Europe Business School, Berlin Campus. He also completed courses in Strategic Planning, Sales, Management and Leadership from INCAE Business School of Costa Rica and the University of California, Berkeley.
Ing Jaramillo has strong relationships with government authorities, mining and oil companies in both the public and private sectors, and national and international financial institutions.
Michael Malana, CPA, CMA
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Malana, CPA, CMA has extensive experience in administration, accounting and reporting for several public companies. He is currently the CFO of Patriot One Technologies Inc. (TSXV:PAT) where he was instrumental in completing a recent reverse takeover. As CFO and Corporate Secretary of Apivio Systems Inc., (TSXV:APV), he was responsible for Apivio’s transition from a private to a public company. As CFO of Sunward Resources Ltd. (TSX:SWD), he was involved in its transition from the TSX Venture Exchange to the TSX. Prior to that Mr. Malana was the Corporate Controller of Jinshan Gold Mines (now listed on the TSX as China National Gold) when it transitioned from exploration, to development to production. He was also involved in Jinshan’s early adoption of IFRS and their secondary listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
